Enterprise Global Laptop Transition

Project Description
Led a global transition from desktops to laptops across multiple enterprise locations. This project was initiated in response to the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and aimed to enhance remote work capabilities.
Key Achievements

Transition Planning: Started with 106 desktops and successfully transitioned the majority to laptops, considering the specific needs of different departments such as Parts, Reception, Warehouse, and Boardrooms.

Desktop Reduction: Reduced the number of desktops to 25 pending replacements, with the highest concentration of 11 at Oakdale. This included 6 in the US and the remaining 19 in Ontario.

Supply Chain Management: Navigated supply chain issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the timely acquisition and setup of laptop hardware.

Successful Completion: Despite the challenges, ensured that the remaining 25 desktops were reclaimed and the users transitioned to laptops by the end of Q1 2021.
Key Fob System Implementation

Led the implementation of a key fob system across multiple office locations for a client based in Houston. This involved extensive collaboration with vendors, contractors, and local authorities to ensure a successful and compliant installation.

Client Infrastructure Modernization

Project Description
Led a major modernization project initially planned to span 3 years and broken down into 4 distinct phases. The project scope was expanded to integrate an acquired company into the parent company’s infrastructure, accelerating the timeline to be completed in 1-2 years.
